We're back!

Following the first Young Minds Matter charity concert and dinner at Warwick Hall in October 2017, when we managed to raise a phenomenal £37,100, we are delighted and excited to announce the next Young Minds Matter event......

An evening of inspirational performances from 70 young talented musicians, coming together to support mental health in young people. Performers will be students predominantly from local secondary schools but also from other music groups and universities. A Prosecco reception precedes the concert in the beautiful Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-upon-Avon, one of the most visited churches in the country. Presented by the effervescent Sally Bee, a local professional Health & Wellbeing Coach, Author and Presenter, the evening promises to be filled with moving and enlightening music, speakers, video footage and an auction and raffle. Young Minds Matter will be supporting Lifespace Trust, a Stratford based charity who provide mentoring for local children and young people to help reduce their distress and build resilience, and Young Minds, the leading national charity fighting for the best possible mental health support for young people.

If you are not able to come along to this event but you would like to donate to this very worthy cause then please do so here!

Mental Health issues affect 1 in 10 children, and 1 in 4 young adults. It has a massive detrimental impact on their lives, development and education. Going through teenage years is difficult enough for most people. There is great stress from exams, society and the general trials and tribulations of growing up.

Thank you so much for your support.

We are delighted to share with you some very special videos from the Young Minds Matters charity concert.

This first one is a highlights video, giving you a sense of the atmosphere and layout of the evening and showing you the incredible range of performers that we had from our fantastic local schools:

The second video captures the stunning performance by Mary Eckert from Tudor Hall School. She performed the powerful song Rise Up by Andra Day and received a standing ovation. This song was dedicated by Sue to the four girls who inspired her throughout this event, Eliza Lindsay, Olivia Gough, Olivia Tomlinson and Charlotte Cree.
We are so thankful to both Mary and her Mum Anna who contributed so much to the success of the evening.

Our final video has already been posted as an update but we feel that it is so powerful so we're sharing it again! Kitty and Martha performed Moby's 18 so beautifully, and the quotes from people affected by mental health added to the emotion of this performance.

These three videos were recorded and created by Nick Short Photography,

Do enjoy watching and please share these amazing videos.
