Black British Foodies Fund

The food & beverage industry in the UK has experienced a significant period of growth in the last 5 years. However. it is clear that there is a need to support the growth and development of black owned food businesses in the UK. The need for this is more relevant than ever as we approach a post- COVID19 industry, a climate that will come with guaranteed uncertainty and the need to become fluid.

The Black British foodies fund will foster a community of black owned food & drink brands and provide expert knowledge, experience and growth services to enable them to thrive.

The monies raised in the fund will be used to form the group; designed for black foodie entrepreneurs and business owners needing grants to move their business forward and realise their dreams. Whether it be equipment, vital learning or simply a cash injection so they can focus on their goal full time. There will also a variety of essential services provided on an on-going business:

We will chose businesses who have a clear idea of where the funds will be spent and how to create the best impact from their grant and other support they receive.


The Fund is a private fund which will be managed and overseen by Juici Jerk. Beneficiaries will be chosen via the application process which will be detailed on our social media. This will be followed by an opportunity for individuals to pitch their business idea/support needs. The funds will be withdrawn, managed and distributed by Juici Jerk.
