Carew Mill - 100 laps (100 miles) in 24 hours!

I decided that I wanted to raise money to help purchase a trike/adapted bike to help a visually impaired child in my class. Due to his sight, he isn't able to ride a bike - and is desperate to gain some independence/confidence and ride a bike like every other child.

On the back of a challenge set by school, to complete the '100 challenge' as a tribute to Captain Sir Tom Moore, I decided to tie the two together and have a go at completing this grueling challenge. 100 laps of Carew Castle and Mill will total just under 100 miles - in less than 24 hours.

I would like to invite people to come along (as long as it is safe to do so - please don't drive) and join me for as many socially distanced laps as possible.

On Sunday 21st February, I aim to start at around 8a.m and run at roughly 10-12 minute miles. That's roughly 5-6 miles in 1 hour and should take around 16 hours.  On top of this - I will have to stop for food and to stretch/walk, so it’s likely to take more like 20+ hours! I don’t think I can run 100 miles straight through. Your donations and your support on the day will be hugely appreciated!
