Disaster Relief Typhoon Vamco in the Philippines

On the 11th November the Philippines was hit by a powerful typhoon including Manila (Quezon City) with severe flooding to roof level of my sister in-law & niece (age 7) home in the middle of the night. This destroyed parts of their home and damage all their belongings, only keeping the items they had with them at the time. The Philippines is often known as the land of smiles and the Filipino people are known for their resiliency and Bayanihan which is a core essence of the Filipino culture (helping out one's neighbour and doing task together as a community). However, they have not had the best of times recently due to multiple typhoons battering their area and the country, this latest typhoon created devastation and severe flooding.

The Philippines being a developing country the government does not provide financial support or free medical hospital care, as they do in the UK particularly during these pandemic times. Likewise, if your aware of Climate Change your also be knowledgeable about the increase of global temperature, this can cause rise in water level, creating severe flooding and damages in people’s lives and livelihood.

My wife & I have provided them financial support during these difficult times and will continue to do so. It is becoming clear this is not enough. I am therefore asking family and friends for your kind support and donations. This would make a big difference to their lives, while they are getting back on their feet & starting to rebuild their home. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, this is going towards: food, clothes, shoes washing/sanitation equipment's, medicine, schoolbooks and learning materials. Thank you so much for your kindness & support.
