⭐ SUPPORT THE YOUNGEST EUROPEAN SELECTED FOR ROB SWAN'S ⭐
⭐ ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION ON HIS JOURNEY TO FIGHT CLIMATE CHANGE ⭐

❗I've been selected to go to Antarctica with Sir Robert Swan OBE in November❗
I am the youngest European and only Norwegian to be selected for this expedition!
45989064_1583770876322962_r.jpegThis expedition is led by world-famous polar explorer and environmentalist Rob Swan (OBE) alongside Barney Swan and Jeff Bonaldi. Under Rob Swan’s 2041 foundation, the expedition’s goal is to engage and inspire the next generation of leaders to tackle climate change, sustainability and the preservation of Antarctica!

This expedition will provide me with tools, knowledge and network I need to achieve my dream of creating a carbon capture business and inspire climate action!

A BIT ABOUT ME... ✍

Being Norwegian, I grew up surrounded by nature. I camped in -40ºC in the arctic, cycled through 100km of pure Norwegian wilderness and hiked every mountain I could and as a result I have grown to deeply care for the environment.

➮ It was as a young child I also discovered my desire to become an entrepreneur. At 8 years old I began selling handmade comic books to strangers with my best friend. Although I can't vouch that the strangers found them anywhere near as funny as me and my friend did, I loved the feeling of being able to contribute something valuable.
45989064_1583770977773165_r.jpeg➮ When I became a teenager my passion for nature began to come into fruition and I was engrossed in learning about climate change and environmentalism; subsequently, I became vegan at 15 and I haven't looked back since.

➮ After working my best, I was luckily able to get into The London School of Economics (LSE). As a big believer in both charity and pushing yourself outside your comfort zone, I signed up to some amazing charity challenges. This included hitchhiking 150km in a unicorn outfit, shaving all my hair off and cycling from London to Paris! Through the aid and generosity of those around me I was able to raise £1,600 in 8 months.
45989064_1583771046519675_r.jpeg➮ I learnt it was important to chase your dreams in life and so after a year of studying finance, I swapped back into first year again to study all about climate change, the environment and sustainability so I could get one step closer to my goal of creating a carbon capture business.

➮ I've signed up to this expedition because I'm optimistic we can solve climate change and create a new generation of sustainable business and policy leaders!
45989064_1583771118268678_r.jpegTHE 2021 ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION ❄️(brrr cold)

➮ On this carbon-neutral expedition, I'll be sailing past towering icebergs, exploring epic glaciers, observing magnificent landscapes, interacting with the unique wildlife and even swimming in the freezing Antarctic waters. I'll be learning first hand about this fragile continent's ecosystems and how it is under attack from climate change.
45989064_1583771149673183_r.jpeg➮ The mission of this expedition is to build personal leadership skills among the people who want to tackle climate change. I will be part of the world-famous Leadership-On-The-Edge program taught by experts in climate change, leadership, public speaking and more. Organisations such as NASA, Cisco, JP Morgan, Accenture have all sent delegates to this renowned program. ☝
45989064_158377214179152_r.jpeg➮ Through expert-taught workshops, I will learn first-hand about the history of Antarctica, it's fragile ecosystems how climate change is threatening it. For example, David Hone, the chief climate change advisor to Shell will be onboard teaching about the science and challenges behind climate change.
45989064_1583772669197678_r.jpeg➮ This expedition will also connect me to a global network of experts and professionals in renewable energy, sustainability and entrepreneurialism.

TURNING THIS EXPEDITION INTO ACTION ✅

Firstly, I will share first-hand knowledge and insight into Antarctica on social media! This is so everyone can gain a deeper understanding of this pristine continent and the challenges it faces.

Secondly, I will become a mascot for the 2041 foundation and spur the change we need! Through workshops and locally organised events, I will demonstrate the urgency of the situation and relay everything I've learnt about personal leadership, Antarctica and climate change solutions.
45989064_1583772734295614_r.jpegThirdly, I will promote the importance of carbon capture in the fight against climate change. I will go to Antarctica with one question: "How do we practically remove all the CO2 in the atmosphere?" I will share all my findings real-time on social media and upon my return, lecture on the importance of carbon capture at renowned universities and institutions.
45989064_1583772771272636_r.jpegLast but not least, I will publicise 3 Simple Steps we can make to drastically cut our emissions. These steps are:
1. Using Cheap Green Energy
2. Eating Delicious Plant-Based Food
3. Easily Offsetting Flights
Not only will I generate attention to these 3 Simple Steps, but also deliver tailored action plans for people and organisations to easily implement these steps. Through this model, everyone can become a climate warrior!

TESTIMONIAL FROM ROB SWAN (OBE) ⭐

➮ I'm incredibly humbled to have received this testimonial from famous polar explorer, environmentalist and the expedition's founder – Rob Swan OBE!
45989064_1583773018691425_r.jpegTHE BUDGET ✌

45989064_1583773079872691_r.jpeg➮ The crowdfunding campaign target is £4,500 which will cover part of the expedition cost. The rest of the funds I hope to raise through sponsorships.

➮ By helping me exceed the crowdfunding target and reaching the entire amount my place on the expedition will be guaranteed and I will be able to inspire my community to invest into renewables and carbon offsets!
I'll also get closer to achieving my goal of creating a carbon capture company!
