Fellowship of the Trees CIC- Planting and Projects

Hey! thank you for checking out our Gofundme for Fellowship of the Trees C.I.C Projects!

The Fellowship of the Trees are a collaborative of committed people who have co-created a vision from our hearts into care for the planet. We are a fast growing grassroots movement, we have heard the call of the Earth and we are responding with love-in-action. We are a manifestation from weaving together indigenous wisdom, stewardship, environmental and sacred activism along with models of regenerative culture. We emulate nature’s patterns, structures and teachings to facilitate as well as inspire solutions locally and globally.

Our mission is to connect communities by combining purposeful intention with action to re-wild, regenerate, and restore land and culture, ensuring a thriving Earth for future generations.

Since beginning our project in Summer 2019, we’ve planted thousands of trees across different locations around the UK. We have a growing social media following where we have created an online space for the sharing of resources and ideas. We have created community events involving music, art, poetry, workshops, litter picking, planting and fundraising. We have collaborated with other community projects in partnerships, bringing many people together in conscious sacred connection to the Earth and each other.
In 2020 we grew into a Community interest Company and to form structures, visions and projects which will continue to evolve.

We need your support to help our organisation to keep going!

We have received requests from many landowners who are willing to receive and care for new woodland.
As an organisation, our highest priority is to support the natural world, and increase woodland cover in the UK (of which was only 13% in the UK in 2019 - see below for reference link**). Our movement is motivated in love for the planet and ensuring a thriving Earth for our future generations.

We've also been able to rehome thousands of Oak trees which we raised money to save from incineration due to COVID-19 meaning a government planting scheme was dropped. We will be providing a delivery service to each beneficiary, providing them with tree guards and support with planting.

We have the opportunity to support one of our project partners to continue to re-home Oaks from the same nursery, with thousands still needing to be placed for the coming season.
One of our other successful projects this year is our 'tree guardians' project where we have sent seeds all around the UK, so others can create their own tree nurseries. The 'tree guardians' share their journeys on an online forum and we're loving witnessing the joy this is bringing!

We're also currently in talks to begin some woodland well-being projects, in which our approved space holders can lead groups into woodland to connect with the trees and rediscover the therapeutic power of nature. We aim to support others to find healing resources to help them through these difficult times.

So, we would be grateful for your donations to support:

*Tree Saplings and seeds
*Tree protection guards
*Payment of woodland creation project workers
*Delivery expenses
*Seeds for distribution
*Volunteer catering costs
*Space holder & planting instructor expenses
*Organisational expenses (e.g website building, administration, marketing and promotion, travel expenses and remuneration for project workers.
All of the project costs and use of public donations will be available for viewing in our annual reports.

To provide some financial context in relation to our seasonal planting of new woodland:

The costs of the average plantation of around 500 trees including saplings, guards and payment of the plantations designers is around £2000

If you would are interested in any of our projects, receiving oak saplings, or have any advice or suggestions in regards to funding opportunities or anything else, please email us at [email redacted]
