In Memory Of Mimi
In April this year our little Mimi, daughter of Lindsey, was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive blood cancer called T- cell Lymphoma.
After a month of being an inpatient Mimi was discharged from Londons St. George’s hospital and was to continue her treatment as an outpatient. Within 10 days of being home, she began to suffer the side effects of the treatment and was admitted into the royal Marsden. Despite a brave fight by the most courageous 8 year old it was all to much for her. With much sadness she was unexpectedly taken away from us all on Friday 11th June.
Nothing can replace the loss of Mimi but we are hoping to raise funds for Lindsey and Mimi’s brother Alfie. There is much they would love to do in her memory, including getting a Maltese terrier puppy which Mimi had set her heart on calling Toby.
Me and Mark are doing a 30 day challenge through the months of June/July. I plan to walk as many miles as I can while Mark is looking to run non stop the 40 miles from home to Bushy Park - A place that Mimi loved.
We would be grateful for any donations to support Mimi’s family at this difficult time.
