WOW! Just…........................................ WOW! We have reached our latest milestone of £20,000!

What more can we say other than a massive THANK YOU to each and every one of you who have donated to our little Fund! However large or small your donation has been, please be assured that we absolutely appreciate every penny, and we applaud you – without you this fund would not exist.

When we set up this fund all we wanted was to raise enough money to be able to help as many people as possible, we were not sure how much we would be able to raise, but we thought if we could just ease the burden of the desperate a little and let them know that somebody cares then people may not feel quite so desperate and alone. And then in stepped ADINJC and, with their help, what was ‘our little fund’ exploded and started to really take off. Then in stepped the wonderful Marmalade Insurance with their unbelievable offer of doubling our fund if we reached £2,500 then they would double it – an exceptional offer – but then when we reached the £2,500 they upped the ante a bit and said if we could raise £10,000 they would double that and today we have reached that target meaning that our fund now stands at £20,000!!!

But we cannot sit back and think it is now is not, we still need to be able to raise more money so that we can make this fund ongoing and a lifeline to ADI's/PDI's who may need the support of this fund both now and in the future. If anything, we fear that there will be even more people needing to apply for money from the fund now than when we initially set it up so we must keep raising money.

We have now updated our statement on the GoFundMe page. The full rules can be found here
