In loving memory of Emma Vianzon

For those of you who didn’t know her, Emma, was a small, strong, beautiful and the friendliest person you will ever meet. She was sadly taken away from us far too early. She blessed every room she entered with her grace, presence and glowing smile (dimples included). At times she felt taller to us, mostly when angry for not doing chores or something, her small and less than 5ft frame would seem 6ft 5 then...

Emma made friends with everyone...literally everyone!! Everyone but specially any Filipino person she met she’d smile and wave at. God bless you if you caught her attention for she will talk to you for hours and next thing you know you’re at the house having some home made spring rolls and tea!

Despite all the challenges she was faced with, she made sure she showed composure, faith, hope and strength to those around.

She had a brain aneurysmy..recovered from that and went on to learn and pass her driving test!

...Her kidney failed and was on dialysis for nearly three years and yet she conquered that and got a kidney transplant in July this year...

We know she fought hard until the end but sadly this pandemic is too savage and quick...God called and wanted his angel back.

Her profession as a nurse was not a choice, she was born a nurse and died a proud and dedicated nurse. This was her purpose on earth...To care for people. Inside or outside of the hospital. Uniformed or not.

On behalf of our whole family we would like to thank you all for all your support specially at this unusual circumstances. Her friends who were with her until the end, Maraming Salamat po sa pag aalaga Kay Mama kahit Wala kami sa tabi ninya. For the NHS staff- doctors and nurses THANK YOU!

We are overwhelmed with your generous contributions and know that every ounce of support is greatly and truly appreciated.
