Junior Seaford Striders Charity Challenge

Pounding The Pavements For Surviving the Streets.

Seaford Striders Juniors (aged 6-16 years old) are taking on a lockdown challenge to rack up as many miles as possible, to raise money for the local charity Surviving the Streets.

The goal is for children to walk/run at least 7 miles a week during a three-week period.

The challenge starts Monday 25th January and ends Sunday 14th February at 10pm.

The juniors have set a target to raise £500 which will provide desperately needed breakfast packs for homeless people in the local area, including Seaford, Eastbourne, and Hastings.

There's a real need to keep children as physically active as possible during lockdown. And charities are also under pressure during this time, because they cannot hold as many fundraising events.

This challenge is a win-win for everyone involved.

Any donation you can make will be hugely received by the children and Surviving the Streets.

Thanks and stay active :)
