Memorial to the victims of the 1952 Airshow crash
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Farnborough Air Sciences Trust and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
I am, with the help of FAST, trying to raise £620.00 for the erection of a memorial to the victims of the 1952 airshow crash during the September airshow.
31 people died which included the pilot and his observer.
I have gathered the names of all the victims and FAST have allocated a site where a brick wall will be built.
Each brick, 31, will have a victims name engraved on it.
Each brick will cost £20. hence total £620.00.
I have lived in Farnborough for all my 73 years and thought it right that these people be remembered I am trying to achieve this before I pass on.
It is not a vast amount of money but, in my opinion, it will mean something to those that lost loved ones, three young people from one family.
All donations should be addressed to David Wilson FAST.
Thank you
Michael Foreman
