Movie Marathon for Mia

Mia Allen is one of the kindest, smartest, and generally best people I know, and recently she’s been having a harder time than ever before. She has EDS, POTS, and fibromyalgia along with a variety of other conditions, meaning that she often experiences chronic pain, joint dislocations, passing out, and most recently seizures, which are of unknown cause and require a neurological consultant.

Because of the complex nature of her disabilities and how they intersect, NHS healthcare alone has been difficult to navigate, and the specialism available through private healthcare would make a world of difference to her quality of life. But unfortunately, that costs money, which is where we come in!

On September 1st at midnight, me and my fiancée Adam are going to do a 24 hour marathon of the top ten worst rated films on IMDb - me and Mia met on our film studies course, so I can only imagine how much she fears for us.

Anything you could possibly put towards this sponsored movie marathon would be appreciated beyond measure, and would help someone I love dearly get a step closer to managing the more difficult parts of her life.

We all love you Mia! ❤️
