SAVE The Libby Museum of Natural History

Please help us save The Libby Museum, the oldest (and only) natural history museum in New Hampshire. Now 108 years old, the Museum is a listed national historic building overlooking beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee.

Our collection is unique and includes open taxidermy of many New England animals. It also includes original flora and fauna collected by its founder Dr. Henry F. Libby, a local resident and a dedicated naturalist. We have two additional rare collections of North American wildlife on offer too, if we can restore and temperature control this historic building. Please help us!

We open every summer from June through Columbus Day. Children under 16 are free and adult entry is just $5 (veterans are free too). We keep it affordable, just as Dr. Libby would have wished.
