Save the Shelter - Hurricane damage @ Zante Strays

Last night a hurricane hit the island of Zante. Unfortunately a lot of damage was made to the Zante Strays shelter and the roof was ripped off, leaving the dogs exposed to the storm, terrified and soaked through. A lot of the kennels were also damaged and will need repairing / rebuilding.

These poor pups have already had so much devastation in their lives and now rescued by the wonderful volunteers at Zante Strays, they are waiting for their forever homes.

The shelter relies on donations to enable themto save these dogs. Please please give what you can to help repair the place that is keeping them safe.

More information about Zante Strays:

Zante Strays is a dedicated all-volunteer animal rescue. We are passionate about helping the wonderful, friendly stray & abandoned dogs of Zante (Zakynthos) Island, Greece. We rescue, provide veterinary treatment (inc neutering), foster & find loving homes in the UK, Germany/Holland. These extraordinary strays are dumped in rubbish bins or up mountains, shot, starved or living on the streets (tourists feed them in Summer then poison is spread Autumn-Spring) yet they still trust & love people.
