Tabatha has shot gun pellets in spine. Please Help

Do you want to help me in making a difference to one dogs life?

I'm raising money in aid of one particular Zante Stray called Tabatha. She is only four years old and has lived half her life in the shelter. In August she finally found a home in the UK, but due to her unpredictable behaviour and biting, she was returned...this is where I stepped in.

Wags on Water is a licensed home boarding service onboard Barge Yaffle. We also privately rescue, foster and rehome any dog in need.  We also foster for Zante Strays.
Tabatha arrived to be fostered by myself at Wags on Water, three days before Christmas. She was frightened, confused and bit my partner straight away.  We gave her space, but it was obvious something was very wrong.

I arranged for her to see a vet and x rays were carried out yesterday, that confirm that Tabatha has (at some time in her past) been shot!  She has numerous shot gun pellets in her back and two are in her spine, causing her considerable pain.

Now on painkillers, Tabatha will need a CT/MRI to identify where exactly the pellets are and what structures they are affecting i.e. spinal cord, nerves etc. For her to have a pain free future, spinal surgery is highly possible but impossibly expensive. To date we have spent £558.28  on Tabathas care.  A MRI/CAT scan will cost approximately £1000. Spinal surgery cost is somewhere between £2000 to £5000.

This is where you lovely people come in. Any and every donation will help towards Tabathas ongoing medical costs. All I want for Tabatha, is a pain free future and the possibility of a home of her own. But this can only happen with your help. I can provide the foster home, love, care and rehab,  but her medical care is potentially expensive and Zante Strays have limited funds. So please donate what you can, to enable me to help Tabatha have a future that is pain free!

These are her X rays.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause, that means so much to me and that is a life line for Tabatha.
