The restoration of Bundeke palace

Dear viewers of Umbrella News Network (UNN), this is a GoFundme we have created to facilitate the restoration and the re-establishment of Bundeke Palace.

Buganda Kingdom is held firmly together by the spirituals of our ancestors, but the dictatorial regime is working harder than ever to destroy the masses not only in flesh but in spirit as well. Bundeke palace is the hosting grounds for the Kabaka (King) Kateebe the protector and guardian of Buganda Kingdom’s spiritual realm.

Never ending construction projects propagated by the Junta seek to displace and destabilize the last nation in Uganda holding onto its norms. First, came the displacement of the Kabaka Kateebe from this palace, then, the displacement of the Kabaka Kateebe from a home that he had built and now the final strike seems to be the destruction of Bundeke Palace. Construction projects to destroy the palace have been over a variation of investors, from the Koreans, to the African investors and lastly to the Chinese. The current investors, the Chinese, march forth with bulldozers destroying generations and generations of ancestry in Buganda Kingdom.

Bundeke palace remains crucial and essential to the existence of Buganda Kingdom whilst Buganda Kingdom is central to the existence of the Baganda peoples. The junta has focused on divide and rule as a strategy to destroy and tarnish the identity of a peoples. First was the destruction of Ankole Kingdom, then the destabilizing of Tooro Kingdom, to the arrest of Omusinga Charles Mumbere of Rwenzururu Kingdom amidst the deaths of civilians in Kasese. For it is general knowledge in Uganda that the Omukama of Bunyoro is a project of the state. The pattern applied by the state is as clear as day, divide and rule, destroy the Kingdoms and up-lift the centralised government.

Furthermore, Kabaka Kateebe and Princess Naluwembe also need our help for us to provide housing to them . They live a very dare situation and urgently need a decent roof over their heads.Their well-being is at stake, as we embark of this restoration project ,funds raised will further be used to cater their well being.

Please note: This Gofundme is specifically for the announced project towards the restoration of Bundeke palace, NOT for the UNN TV setup which is why we have created a separate avenue of contribution for easy accountability.
