Complete the 2.6 challenge for Howdon Care Centre

On Sunday 26th I was meant to be running 26.2 miles in the London marathon on behalf of AGE UK. Due to the current global pandemic, this has now been delayed until October 4th. (I WILL CROSS THAT FINISH LINE EVENTUALLY!) Instead, Virgin London Marathon has created the 2.6 challenge. As long as it includes the numbers 2 and 6 you can create whatever challenge you want and raise money for your own special cause. So, this Sunday I will be running 26 laps around my Nana's home, Howdon Care Centre. The staff work so hard to keep the residents safe, comfortable, and happy even through these very difficult times. I want to raise money for the team directly to show how much we appreciate them, our key workers.  The centre has future plans for a big party with all staff, residents and their families after the lockdown. After so much time apart from our loved ones, this will be a huge celebration. All together and catching up on missed time! Any donations, no matter how small -will be greatly appreciated. Let's help make it the best celebration once this is all over!
