Improve the Carrow Road atmosphere

Following on from the successes on and off the pitch last season, we're once again asking for your contributions towards the organised support in the Barclay End and beyond.

Last season the growth in the colour and atmosphere at home games was incredible to see and experience. The response to our crowdfunder, which reached £10k, was overwhelming.

This season we want to build on what we've already achieved and push it to new limits.

In order to do that we're relying on the continued support and goodwill of you, our fellow supporters.

We'll be providing new flags and displays throughout the season in an effort to support our lads on the pitch.

We know this season will have its challenges, but believe maintaining the unity in the stands, and between fans and players, is key to our success.

We want Carrow Road to be a loud, atmospheric and intimidating stadium, but also an enjoyable, inclusive and fun place to watch football.

We thank you for your generosity and support in helping us achieve this.

Barclay End Norwich & Along Come Norwich

 Thanks in advance

The money is withdrawn to a bank account for Barclay End Norwich specifically, which is managed primarily by David Wiltshire (with Thomas Markham-Uden as a backup) to pay suppliers for the banners and flags required. Periodically we will look to publish updates on here about what your money has been spent on.

Thanks to everyone for your donations - we just wanted to provide a small update as to where we've got to so far.

Since the fundraiser hit its target we’ve been busily designing, purchasing and waving flags in the Barclay End Lower tier. Your donations have made that happen – THANK YOU. In addition to those in the Barclay at the moment (around 500 flags, ish) we have another 200 smaller flags on order, and a few large ones – watch this space for those.

We’re now at a stage where the level of support, both within our fanbase and the club, is growing every day. We also have some different plans for derby day on 10 February 2019. As such we’re starting to bang the drum again to raise some more funds – which will specifically go into efforts for the Ipswich game. If you could help spread the word we’d be eternally grateful. To say thanks to anyone who is donating now we’re offering 20 stickers for a minimum £5 donation (UK shipping, little bit extra for international shipping). Tell your friends, neighbours and colleagues and we’d love you forever.

Also, if you’re looking to get involved on matchdays come and see us at the back of Block E, or email us at alongcomenorwich@gmail.com or barclayendnorwich@hotmail.com

Hi All,

Thanks again for making the crowdfunder so successful, we were overwhelmed with how many people have donated so far.

We wanted to give you an update on things that are ongoing, in case you haven't see it on ACN or our social media channels. Ongoing stuff as follows:

1. We have a dedicated singing section agreed for the Lower Barclay for the Stevenage League Cup game on 14 August (exact area to be defined when season ticket holders have had the chance to take up their seats). To make it work properly we really need people to let us know if they're interested in coming along and joining in. Everyone is welcome, we want this to be an inclusive environment to back your team. If you'd like to be part of it please email us at barclayendnorwich@gmail.com

Further information available here:

2. We have some new flags ordered and in production for a display for the first home match on 11 August. We're looking for a number of people, who would need to be based in the Lower Barclay, to help us with this. It would mean being available around 15-20 minutes before kick off. If you could spare us your time we'd really appreciate it. Let us know if it's something you could do, again by email at barclayendnorwich@gmail.com

Thanks again
